Bike Science Physiotherapy, situated in the heart of Stellenbosch, offers professional and recreational athletes a hands-on approach to physiotherapy and bike fitting. Peet le Roux started Bike Science Physiotherapy in 2019 in his quest to meet the needs of cycling enthusiasts and professional cyclists alike. Bike Science offers athletes the same experience Peet has successfully shared with professionals like Jan Frodeno, Sam Gaze, Anika Langvad, Alan Hatherley and others to achieve their optimum position on the bike and meet the ever increasing goals of the professional athlete
BIKE FITMENT
In 2011 Peet joined Specialized Bicycles where he led the development of bike fitting in South Africa. He gained valuable knowledge and experience while working with Dr. Andy Pruitt (California, USA), the global father of bike fitting. As a certified Body Geometry fitter and Retul qualified technician, Peet spent the last 8 years training retailers on bike fitting and fit technology for cyclists.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
With 20 years of experience in the field of sports physiotherapy, Peet le Roux specialises in biomechanical evaluation, manual treatments and sport-specific rehabilitation.
Peet started his career at Potchefstroom’s high altitude training camps, where he developed and refined his skills in sports physiotherapy while working with a number of elite athletes including Mo Farah.
